100% pure and natural, steam distilled, Australian Sandalwood Oil. Soothing, sensual and grounding aroma. Ideal for diffusing. Can be used in skincare formulations such as face and body oils, creams, lotions, body butters and bath salts. Frequently used in perfumery for is rich woody, earthy base notes. Not tested on animals and vegan friendly.
This aromatic essential oil is very popular in aromatherapy and perfumery. It provides a woody base note and can help complete essential oil blends. Calming and grounding in nature, Australian Sandalwood is often used in diffuser blends for its sensual and tranquil properties.
Sandalwood can be used in skincare formulations, particularly thought to helpful to those with oily skin. It can be used in your homemade serums, lotions, balms, creams and body butters.
Sandalwood Oil is ideal for use in massage. With its soothing and sensual aroma, combined with a carrier oil and other essential oils, it can help maximise the benefits of massage.
Dilution
Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, 1ml of essential oil (approx. 20 drops) to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Aromatherapy
An ideal oil to use in your diffuser or burner to help you chill out before you go to sleep.
Massage
Combine it with a carrier oil and other essential oils for a super sensual massage. We love Apricot Kernel #204 and Geranium Rose (#116) and Lavender (#102).
Skincare
Add a couple of drops to your favourite carrier oil to create your own super simple face serum. We recommend Organic Rosehip (#246) or Cacay (#205).
In the bath
For a wonderful, aromatic spa experience at home, try combining Sandalwood with one of our carrier oils and add it to your bath, leaving you smelling beautiful and your skin felling silky smooth.
